About the Recital

Our year-end recital is the most anticipated event of the dance season at Pure Motion Dance Studio. Every student from our recreational and competition programs takes the stage to showcase the skills, artistry, and confidence they have built throughout the year. From our tiniest Creative Movement dancers to our senior competition team members, every performer shines under the spotlight.

All Students Perform

Every enrolled student participates — recreational and competition alike.

Professional Production

Full stage lighting, sound, and costumes make for a true theatre experience.

Photo & Video

Professional photography and videography available for purchase.

Two Shows

Two performances to accommodate all our families — afternoon and evening.

30 Years of Recitals

A beloved tradition since 1996 — memories that last a lifetime.

Costumes

Costumes are ordered in the winter and distributed in the spring. Each student receives one costume per class enrolled. Costume fees are collected separately — see our pricing page for details. Students are responsible for keeping their costumes in good condition until recital day.

  • Costume fees are due by the winter deadline — late orders may not be guaranteed.
  • Each class has a unique costume chosen by the instructor to match the choreography.
  • Alterations and accessories (tights, shoes) are the responsibility of the family.
  • Costumes should be labelled with the student's name before dress rehearsal.

Tickets

Ticket information will be announced in the spring. Tickets are typically sold online and at the studio. Each family receives a set number of complimentary tickets; additional tickets may be purchased while supplies last.
